Veil Nebula
Around 8,000 years ago, a star 20 times the mass of our Sun exploded in a supernova. The Veil Nebula is a remnant of that supernova. The remnants have continued to expand in space to cover an area six times the diameter of the moon. It is located 2,100 light years from Earth.
