Devil’s Matchstick Lichen
A fungus and a lichen working symbiotically together, the Devil’s Matchstick Lichen has a narrow white stalk with red caps which look strikingly (pun intended) like a matchstick. They enjoy hanging out near soggy rotting wood such as old logs and fence posts.
