Zebra Finch

Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia castanotis) are found in a variety of habitats across northern and central Australia. They inhabit grasslands, savannas, and open woodlands. These finches are social birds and are often observed in flocks. Outside the breeding season, they may engage in activities such as foraging and social interaction and gather in communal roosts. These roosting sites provide safety from predators.
