Strawberry Finch

Found in the tropical grasslands of Asia, the Strawberry Finch (Amandava amandava) is known for its males displaying fiery red plumage during monsoon season, which coincides with the species breeding season. Around the time of breeding, they construct globular nests out of blades of grass!
