Ocean Jasper is a variety of chalcedony, which is a type of microcrystalline quartz.It is primarily found in Madagascar. The most defining feature of Orbicular Ocean Jasper is its orbicular (circular) patterns. These concentric circles develop as mineral-rich solutions permeate cavities or voids in the rock. Orbicular Ocean Jasper is believed by some to be associated with grounding, stability, and nurturing energies.
